Robotics classes for kids in Puchong

Four levels that grow with your child, from first robot builds at age 4 to robotics with AI at 13. Kids build with Cubroid robots, code them, and present what they made. Every level ends ready for the next, and then Arduino.

Level 1Ages 4 to 7Robotics

Robinuo Explorer

Your child's first robotics class. Young kids build Cubroid models, colourful snap-together blocks with motors, lights and sensors inside, and control them from a tablet. They see straight away that what they tap on the screen makes their robot move, light up or make a sound.

What they learn

  • How motors, lights and sensors make a robot work
  • Giving instructions in the right order
  • Following a build step by step
  • Using a tablet with purpose

Skills they grow

  • Fine motor control and hand-eye coordination
  • Patience to finish a build
  • Early problem solving
  • Talking about what they made

Good for: kids who love building and need to see and touch things to learn. No reading of code needed.

Level 2Ages 7 to 9Robotics + coding

Robinuo Builder

Builder adds programming to building. Kids drag and drop code blocks to tell their robot exactly what to do, then run it and watch what happens. When the robot does something unexpected, they look back at their blocks, find the step that went wrong and fix it.

What they learn

  • Drag-and-drop block programming
  • Planning steps before building
  • Making a robot respond to its sensors
  • Reading and changing their own code

Skills they grow

  • Logical thinking
  • Trying again after a mistake
  • Working through a task on their own
  • Early maths: counting, angles, timing

Good for: kids who finished Explorer, or 7 to 9 year olds starting fresh. This is the age that tends to stay with us the longest.

Level 3Ages 9 to 10Robotics + coding

Robinuo Innovator

Innovator is where kids start thinking like programmers. They use sequencing, loops and conditions to make robots that decide what to do on their own, like stopping before a wall or turning when they see a line. They also learn debugging: finding and fixing problems in their code step by step.

What they learn

  • Sequencing: putting steps in the right order
  • Loops: repeating actions without rewriting them
  • Conditions: if this happens, do that
  • Debugging their own programs

Skills they grow

  • Breaking a big problem into small steps
  • Testing ideas and comparing results
  • Confidence explaining how their robot works
  • Ready for text-based coding later

Good for: kids who enjoy puzzles and want their robot to do more than follow a fixed route.

Level 4Ages 10 to 13Robotics + AI + coding

Curo AI

Curo AI is an AI class for kids that combines robotics with a Scratch-style coding environment. Kids work with sprites, sounds and events to build interactive projects, and learn the basic ideas behind artificial intelligence: how a machine takes in information, recognises patterns and makes a decision.

What they learn

  • Events: making things happen when something is clicked, heard or sensed
  • Sprites, sounds and animation
  • Basic AI concepts and how AI makes decisions
  • Linking code on screen to a real robot

Skills they grow

  • Designing a project from an idea
  • Understanding the AI tools they already see every day
  • Combining hardware and software
  • Presenting their work

Good for: upper primary kids curious about AI who still enjoy building with their hands.

Touch typing in every programme

Most kids type with two fingers. Our students learn to type with all ten, without looking at the keys, and we track their speed as they improve. It makes schoolwork faster now and coding much easier later.

Speaking up with confidence

Kids don't just build. They practise explaining what they built and how it works, to their coach and their classmates. It isn't a public speaking class. It's small, regular practice that helps them speak up with more confidence in class and at school.

How a class runs

Many centres hand kids a manual and leave them to work through it alone. We teach first, then build together.

  1. Learn it

The coach teaches the new idea with interactive slides and a live demo, so every child understands the why before they start.

  2. Build it

Kids build the robot or write the program themselves, hands-on, with the coach moving between them.

  3. Test and fix it

They run it, spot what went wrong and fix it. Mistakes are part of the lesson, not something to be scared of.

  4. Explain it

Each child shows what they made and explains how it works. Then the coach notes their progress for your monthly update.
